Who we are
The Cowichan Bay Fire Rescue is a collection of people from within your community who lead regular 9-5 lives, have families and hobbies such as yourself. The difference is these individuals are also the ones who carry a pager, and on a moments notice are asked to leave their jobs, families and hobbies to assist their community during an emergency. We are not a career Fire Department, we are entirely Volunteer.
Below you will see the individuals who make up the Cowichan Bay Fire Rescue and the regular full time jobs they maintain while still managing to find time to serve their community. So next time you see someone with a big black pager on their hip or hear the high pitch rapid beeping echoing through the grocery store, take a minute to think about and thank those who volunteer to protect you.
